Do I Write Sponsored Posts?
Yes, occasionally I will write sponsored posts where brands or companies pay me to write about a specific topic on this blog with links / advertisements / advertorial for a company or band contained within. The majority of content on the blog is unsponsored. Any sponsored content must be the right fit for the blog, so I’ll always aim to keep the content relevant. If a post is sponsored this will be noted towards the end of the individual post.
Also, remember that sometimes I may receive a product to review, and while that post isn’t technically sponsored, me receiving the product has made the review possible. I’ll always mention when I’ve received something in the individual post and I’ll never accept payment in exchange for a review.
Sponsored posts are always clearly marked.
In compliance with new regulations, please assume the following about links and posts on CookItYourself: Any of the links on this website might be affiliate links of which we receive a small (usually tiny, like we’re talking cents here) commission from sale of certain items. This commission goes towards running the site.
So what are these affiliate links?
When a reader clicks on an affiliate link located on this website to purchase an item or make a booking, the reader buys this from the seller directly (Not CookItYourself). The seller then pays us a small commission or other compensation for promoting their website or product through their affiliate program.
Prices are exactly the same whether you purchase through an affiliate link or non-affiliate link. You won’t pay more by using any of our links.
