Well, considering part of this blog covers “Grow Your Own” It’s only natural that I managed to get three of these to give away. You’ve got until the end of May to really get everything going in the garden and you’ve got until the 14th of May to win one of these handy starter kits.

Whats Included?

15 x packets of seeds.
1 x small propagator.
5 x 9cm pots.
10 x plant labels.
9 x peat packets (fills the propagator).
Access to the DSC online grow guides.

It’s a fairly simple competition to enter.. Simple leave a comment below, with what you’d most like to grow and you’ll be entered into the draw. Anyone who’s subscribed to my mailing list which is here, will also be entered.

Like Alan, I’m hopeful of getting around to growing chili peppers. A patch for those and one for garlic and I’d be quite happy. A few days with a shovel in the garden should see it right, lord knows I’ve been threatening to start growing my own veg long enough!

With that little plastic covering it would be perfect for that oh so delicate herb, Basil. Realistically, I’ll probably end up splitting the space with Basil’s hardy cousin, Parsley.

I’d like to grow…something, anything that doesn’t die on me! Especially herbs which I spend a fortune on in the supermarket. I’d also really love to grow potatoes, carrots and onions – we grew those at home when I was growing up and I’d love to continue that tradition.

My husband and I have just moved into a new house with a medium sized garden (our first). We’ve already decided we’re going to have a veg and herb patch but this’d be fabulous in the mean time!

It’s going to be a while before we can get the garden started and this’d sit happily in the sun outside the patio!

What would we grow? …I’d want to grow Pasnips as I could live off them but I know my husband would want to grow some home grown carrots!
